What Michael Pitt is wearing in Boardwalk Empire is definitely very inspirational. I wish I could have hairs like him!

 Don’t forget what he could also be wearing, and get some the must-have 20s to 40s accessories like handkerchiefs, tie clips, cufflinks, or even hats if you dare available everywhere on the internet. Favour the vintage pieces, with geometrical design for textiles and in silver or gold for other accessories.

 Then, cut and comb your hair and give yourself a close shave to get along with your outfit. All this must look like comfortable and natural, easy to achieve. Still we all know how demanding it is to look so elegantly clean. (forget it if you’re bald like me: it will be difficult to avoid a shaved haircut with three days’ stubble).

J’aime beaucoup le style très marqué et très propre Michael Pitt dans Boardwalk Empire : l’élégance d’époque me semble bien restituée quoique vraisemblablement modernisée. J’aimerais tant avoir de tels cheveux!

Si votre personnalité s’exprime dans de telles tenues - petits chanceux - n’oubliez pas tous ces accessoires must-have, très significatif des années 20 à 40 comme les pochettes, les pinces à cravate, les boutons de manchettes et pourquoi pas les chapeaux même, tous disponibles sur internet si vous cherchez bien.

Privilégiez évidemment les pièces vintage, avec des motifs géométriques pour les tissus et en or ou argent pour les autres accessoires.

 Enfin, coupez vous les cheveux et peignez les, rasez vous de près pour compléter votre allure. Tout cela doit paraître simple, mais nous savons quelle discipline cela exige chaque matin. (cependant, n’optez pas pour ce style si vos cheveux vous quittent : difficile alors d’éviter un crâne rasé et une légère barbe à mon sens).
