Micah Lidberg is one of « the most talented illustrators of his generation” says Lacoste. Nothing less. Inspired by nature and weird creatures, his storytelling work if flowing, colorful and rich in details as we can read and see on the Lacoste L!ve website. With Lacoste L!ve, Micah created his own mini-collection that we – at initials AO – would connect to what Prada or even Gitman Vintage are currently proposing when it comes to printings. So yes, we must say it is pretty intricate, but no, we do not want to compare it with some cheap Chinese production as some laymen would do. We should never put these Chinese dragons (that we may like by the way) on the same line as this great, complex, dense and sophisticated graphic artwork. Available now in stores.

Micah Lidberg est présenté par Lacoste comme « l’un des illustrateurs le plus talentueux de sa génération ». Pas moins. Inspiré par la nature et l’étrange, son travail est fluide, coloré et plein de détails nous apprend le site de Lacoste L!ve. Avec Lacoste L!ve, Micah a créé sa propre mini-collection que nous rapprochons chez initials AO de ce qu’on retrouve chez Prada, ou encore Gitman Vintage, si on juge par ces imprimés. Alors oui, c’est chargé, mais non, nous ne pouvons pas le comparer comme certains le font à ce que l’on trouve dans les confections chinoises bon marché. Ne confondons pas les dragons chinois (que nous pouvons par ailleurs aimé) avec ce travail graphique intense et complexe mais harmonieux. A shopper en boutique depuis le mois de juillet.
